Terms of Service

1. Scope of Application

These Terms govern the use of Turing Verify, a document verification software-as-a-service ("SaaS") platform operated by Turing Space Inc. and accessible at verify.turingcerts.com. The Service provides AI-powered document analysis to assist users in evaluating the authenticity and integrity of uploaded documents. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and any other persons who access or use the Service.

2. User Registration

Access to the Service requires the creation of a user account. Registration is available through (a) third-party OAuth providers (currently Google and LinkedIn), (b) passwordless magic-link email authentication, or (c) email-and-password registration. Each natural person may maintain only one account. By registering, you represent and warrant that all information provided during the authentication process is accurate and current. Duplicate accounts may be suspended or terminated without notice. Where you choose password authentication, you are responsible for selecting a strong, unique password and for all activity under your account.

3. Account Management

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify the Company at [email protected] of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account information.

4. Service Description & Disclaimer

The Service employs artificial intelligence and machine learning models to analyze uploaded documents and produce confidence scores and risk assessments. These outputs reflect the model's probabilistic evaluation at the time of analysis and are subject to the inherent limitations of AI technology.

By using the Service, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• Results should be used as one input among many in your decision-making process, not as sole or determinative evidence.
• You waive any and all claims asserting that verification results constitute a legal determination, professional opinion, or binding certification.
• The Company bears no responsibility for decisions made in reliance on verification outputs.
• You are encouraged to seek independent professional advice where the legal status of a document is material to your interests.

5. Document Processing & Storage

You retain all intellectual property rights in any documents you upload to the Service. By uploading documents, you grant Turing Space Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to store and process those documents solely for the purpose of providing verification services and, in anonymized and aggregated form, for improving Service quality. Retention periods, data residency, and the procedure for requesting deletion are defined in our Privacy Policy and exercisable through the Data Rights Portal.

6. Paid and Free Account Terms

The Service is offered under the following subscription tiers:

All paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges to your designated payment method. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Unused verifications do not roll over between billing periods.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Uploading malicious files, including but not limited to files containing viruses, trojans, ransomware, or other harmful code.
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code, algorithms, or models underlying the Service's AI systems.
• Submitting documents for which you do not have the legal authority or right to upload and process.
• Engaging in bulk automated access or abuse of the Service, including scraping, credential stuffing, or circumventing rate limits.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without prejudice to any other remedies available to the Company.

8. Data Protection

Turing Space Inc. acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the Service and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All primary storage is hosted within the European Union (Amsterdam, Netherlands) and protected by technical and organizational measures aligned with ISO/IEC 27001. Document content is transmitted to AI model providers (currently including Anthropic and OpenAI) for inference; these are third-country (United States) sub-processors covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, with zero-retention API configurations. Data residency, lawful bases, sub-processors, international transfer safeguards, the right to erasure, and all other data-protection disclosures are set out in full in our Privacy Policy and on the Trust & Sub-Processors page. 9. Age Restriction

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. In jurisdictions where the age of digital consent is lower (but not less than 13), the applicable local minimum applies. The Company does not knowingly collect, store, or process personal data from individuals below the applicable minimum age. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from an underage individual without verifiable parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete such data from our systems.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company's total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to the Company during the one-month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. The Company expressly disclaims all liability for any decisions, actions, or omissions made by you or any third party in reliance on the verification results provided by the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.

12. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes at least 30 days prior to the effective date of such changes via email or through a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any amendments constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service before the changes take effect.
